Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative

January 2026 marks a significant milestone for the Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative ( APCCI)  as it completes 10 years of driving sustainable urban transformation. Inspired by ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’, Industrialist and Philanthropist Mr.Adar Poonawalla announced the initiative in 2015 by committing   personal funds to launch APCCI as a focused, mission-driven effort to enhance public sanitation and foster civic pride in Pune.   The initiative was formally inaugurated in January 2016.   जागतिक स्तरावर रक्तदान हे आरोग्यसेवेसाठी एक मजबूत आधारस्तंभ आहे. आपण केलेल्या रक्तदानामुळे कोणाचे तरी प्राण वाचले आहेत ही भावनाच समाधान देऊन जाते. रक्तदानाच्या महान कृत्यामुळे वैद्यकीय प्रक्रियांना मदत होते आणि लोकांचे जीव वाचविण्याबरोबरच हजारो कुटुंबियांना त्यांचे प्रियजन बरे होत असलेले पाहताना आनंद मिळतो  .   रक्तदानाच्या या महान कार्यात योगदान देण्यासाठी अदर पूनावाला क्लीन सिटी इनिशिएटिव्ह (एपीसीसीआय) तर्फे स्वातंत्र्य दिनानिमित्त नुकतेच रक्तदान शिबिराचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. गेल्या वर्षी मिळालेल्या उत्तम प्रतिसादानंतर आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या दुसऱ्या रक्तदान मोहिमेत १०० हून अधिक स्वच्छतादूत व टीम सदस्यांनी भाग घेतला आणि रक्तदान केले. 'जनकल्याण रक्तकेंद्र,पुणे' च्या सहकार्याने हा उपक्रम राबविण्यात आला. एपीसीसीआयचे मुख्य कामकाज अधिकारी मल्हार करवंदे आणि लीड व्हॉलेंटिअर सत्या नटराजन यांचा देखील रक्तदान केलेल्या टीम सदस्यांमध्ये सहभाग होता. सर्व सहभागींनी या उपक्रमाबद्दल समाधान व्यक्त केले.
