स्वयंसेवी संस्थांनी उन्हाळ्याच्या दिवसांचा सदुपयोग प्रभावीपणे करत प्रत्येक आठवड्याच्या शेवटी सलग स्वच्छता मोहिमा राबविल्या आहेत. शनिवार-रविवारची सकाळच्या वेळेला समाजोपयोगी उपक्रमांचे स्वरूप प्राप्त झाले असून पुण्यात विविध गट नागरिकांना या मोहिमांमध्ये सक्रियपणे सहभागी करून घेत आहेत. यावर्षी एपीसीसीआय ने मायप्रकृती,बीपीटी सेवा,टुगेदर इंडिया आणि क्लीनअप इंडिया यांसारख्या संस्थांच्या पुढाकारातून राबविण्यात आलेल्या उपक्रमांमध्ये सहभाग घेतला.   उन्हाळा हा सहसा सुट्टया आणि निवातंपणाचा काळ मानला जातो,मात्र समाजासाठी काहीतरी करण्यासाठी हाच सर्वांत प्रभावी रूतू ठरू शकतो. निरभ्र आकाशामुळे शहरातील स्वच्छता मोहिमांसाठी हा उत्तम हंगाम मानला जातो. वेताळ टेकडी,तळजाई टेकडी आणि बाणेर हिल्स सारख्या निसर्गरम्य ठिकाणांपासून ते मुळा-मुठा नदी काठपर्यंत किंवा आपल्या परिसरातील रस्त्यांपर्यंत विविध ठिकाणी स्वच्छता मोहिमा राबवल्या जात आहेत. विशेषत: तरूण वर्ग या मोहिमेत  उत्साहाने सहभागी होत आहेत.आठवड्याच्या सुट्टीच्या दिवशी सकाळी घरात वेळ घालवण्याऐवजी अनेक युवक टेकड्या,नदीकाठ आणि सार्वजन...

Volunteering organisations have made the most of summers with back-to-back weekend cleanliness drives, turning early mornings into purposeful community action. Groups across Pune have been actively engaging citizens. This year APCCI participated in initiatives led by organisations like MyPrakriti , BPT Seva , Together India , and CleanUp India . Summer in Pune is often seen as a time to slow down with vacations, but it can also be the most powerful season to give back. With clear skies, it’s the perfect opportunity to step outdoors and contribute to cleanliness drives across the city—from the scenic trails of Vetal Tekdi, Taljai Tekdi and Baner Hills to the banks of the Mula-Mutha River , and even the streets in our own neighbourhood. A strong induction program plays a vital role in shaping young minds by helping students understand real-world challenges, responsibilities, and opportunities beyond the classroom. It is during these early interactions that students begin to connect academic learning with social responsibility and civic awareness.       As part of this vision, Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative (APCCI) recently participated in the student induction program at Keystone School of Engineering on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
