Completing a decade of dedicated service,  The Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative( APCCI)  has  evolved into a technology-driven public–private partnership that has redefined how cities can collaborate, innovate, and engage citizens to create cleaner, healthier urban spaces.  Among its many unique initiatives and modern machines, the “Glutton”—a compact, electric vacuum litter picker— has emerged as a prominent symbol of modern waste management and is now a familiar sight on the streets of Pune, sparking curiosity among residents.     Designed to efficiently collect small waste such as wrappers and  roadside dry litter ,  the Glutton machine enables quick and effective cleaning of footpaths and public spaces. While there is a lot of awareness on keeping these places clean, we often forget the beautiful roads leading to these places. These are the roads which lead us to these beautiful places and give us memories of life. In past few years, rapid industrial growth has resulted in the city growing in population as well as size. Keeping the city clean is not a piece of cake. A lot of hard work and consistency is needed to keep the environment clean. Having the help of various machines to do this is a cherry on the cake. Machines save our time, they make cleaning efficient and ease up the job a little.   Machines are a great help to man but they can’t be used until the men are skilled.
