दुर्गम भागात शिक्षण,आरोग्यसेवा,पर्यावरण,कौ शल्य प्रशिक्षण,जागरूकता निर्माण करणारे उपक्रम ते आवश्यक वस्तू पोहचविण्यापर्यंत आपल्या काळातील सर्वात मोठ्या आव्हानांना तोंड देणाऱ्या उपक्रमांच्या केंद्रस्थानी असतात ते स्वयंसेवक. दरवर्षी 5 डिसेंबर हा दिवस इंटरनॅशनल व्हॉलेंटिअर डे म्हणून साजरा केला जातो.संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघातर्फे हा दिवस 1985 साली स्थापित करण्यात आला. जगभरातील स्वयंसेवक या अभूतपूर्व समुदायाच्या निस्वार्थ सेवेवर प्रकाश टाकणारा हा दिवस असतो. मानवता,व्यक्तिमत्त्व विकास आणि समुदायावर सकारात्मक प्रभाव स्वयंसेवा ही केवळ सेवा नसून त्याचे अनेक पैलू असतात.स्वयंसेवेमुळे कोणत्याही व्यक्तीमधील मानवी घटक अधोरेखित होतो.तसेच एक समान ध्येयासाठी सांघिक प्रयत्न होतो.   ना नफा तत्वावर काम करणाऱ्या संस्था आणि समाजासाठी काम करणाऱ्या समुदायांसाठी स्वयंसेवक एक जीवनदायी घटकासारखे असतात. समाजासाठी आपले काही उत्तरदायित्व असते आणि त्याची परतफेड करणे स्वयंसेवेमुळे शक्य होते.पण स्वयंसेवेचा हा एकच पैलू नसून यामुळे आपल्या वैयक्तिक विकासात देखील भर पडू शकते.सांघिक कार्यामुळे नेटवर्किंगमध्ये मदत...
