Inspiring Collaboration for a Greener Tomorrow
The
eighth edition of Clean City Talks, an initiative by the Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative (APCCI), brought together passionate
changemakers working towards a sustainable future. The session welcomed
members of Vrukshathon Foundation — Mr. Santosh More and Vijay Gaikwad —
along with young environmentalist Pratyush Sancheti from the Maza
Maharashtra Mission.
Mr. Malhar Karwande, Chief Operating Officer, APCCI, Mr. Aashish Marathe, General Manager, Logistics, APCCI, Mr. Sathya Natarajan, Lead Volunteer, APCCI along with team members were present on the occasion. The two organisations were felicitated for their work in the area of sustainability.

The event highlighted
the importance of community-driven sustainability efforts. Vrukshathon,
known for organizing its annual marathon, goes beyond fitness by
encouraging participants to plant native trees — a powerful message of
environmental responsibility. On the other hand, Maza Maharashtra
Mission, led by motivated students, focuses on cleanliness drives and
youth engagement to keep our surroundings clean. APCCI supported this
young team in their debut activity as a cleanliness partner.
Bringing these two impactful initiatives together on one platform underlined a strong message — collaboration is key to building a cleaner, greener city. As discussed during the session, sustainability is not just a policy or campaign, but a way of life that every citizen must embrace. The enthusiasm of the participants and the energy of young minds like Pratyush serve as a reminder that collective efforts, big or small, can pave the way for meaningful change.
Clean City Talks continues to be a platform where such inspiring stories are shared and celebrated.
