From Awareness to Action: Building Cleaner Cities Together through collaboration

In our fast-growing cities, waste management remains one of the most pressing urban challenges. But with the right values—awareness, self-realisation, and collaboration—we can spark real change. These principles were at the heart of the ninth edition of Clean City Talks, organized by the Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative (APCCI). A clean and healthy environment is essential for the well-being of society and the progress of the nation. The event brought together passionate individuals and changemakers who are actively shaping a cleaner, greener future

The Clean City Talks, an initiative by APCCI aims to explore different aspects of leadership and what we all can learn to make our city better and more liveable.

Mr. Malhar Karwande, COO APCCI, Ashish Marathe, General Manager and Sathya Natarajan, Lead Volunteer APCCI along with waste warriors and team members were present on the occasion.

Members of Lyefit Arena, Mahendra Lohakare, Rajesh Jadhav, Vijay Nandgaonkar, Shrikant Lohakare, Appa Bhondwe, and Anil Gaikwad shared powerful insights from their K2S Katraj to Sinhagad Race.  Navigating through rugged terrains, they highlighted the need for good waste practices in natural environments.

Equally inspiring were young changemakers like Dipali Sindhutej, Founder of The Voyager, and Ashutosh Karale, who showcased their impactful work in cleanliness drives and heritage treks.

Their stories serve as a reminder that when awareness leads to action, and when individuals come together for a common cause, the impact is lasting.

Small steps. Collective efforts. Big impact
